This research aimed to determine the Level of Knowledge and the Application of Sterilization of Nursing Professionals at the National Archbishop Loayza Hospital. The present research work is of quantitative type, descriptive method of cross-section, due to the affirmation of how it will be obtained in a certain period and term. It was carried out with a population of 45 Nursing professionals of the Arzovispo Loayza National Hospital, to which a survey was conducted, whose results allowed us a statistical analysis, observational design, because the variables are not manipulated, only observed and evaluated. The data processing was carried out through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 24) program, entering the data obtained to interpret the corresponding calculations of the investigation. The results of this work will allow to know the fulfillment and commitment on the part of the Nurses, of a continuous and constant training to be able to grant a safe and quality care to the patients, diminishing risks of complications in these.
