Descripción
Sumario:During last decade, there has been a great increase in socio-environmental conflicts as a result of the manifestations of various organizations defending the land and indigenous people against neoliberal policies implemented by governments in Latin America. Which has shown us the great contradictions of our environmental and protection legislation towards the fundamental rights of vulnerable populations. The controversy of freedom to exercise the defense of human rights by witnessing or being directly affected by some degree of environmental impact, has been the starting point to awaken the conscience of the population and the authorities of Peru and Latin America to work together and achieve the goal of achieving a regulatory framework the guarantees the protection of the environment and those who fight for this cause.
