Housing organization in a rural geographical setting

Abstract The objective was to analyze the organization of the houses in a rural geographical area from the spatial analysis in relation to the location and organizational characteristics in the Andes of Peru, the data were obtained from direct interviews with the families, supported by the systems geographic information through the processing of satellite images that allowed the development of thematic maps for analysis and interpretation. The conclusion in relation to the location of the houses 44% of them are located between 200 to 400 meters away from a water source; while in the organizational characteristic they are very common aspects, three rooms, the calamine ceiling and the construction of the adobe walls.  
El objetivo fue analizar la organización de las viviendas en un ámbito geográfico rural a partir del análisis espacial en relación a la ubicación y característica organizacional en los andes del Perú, los datos se obtuvieron a partir de entrevista directas a las familias, apoyada con los sistemas de información geográfica mediante el procesamiento de imágenes satelitales que permitió elaborar mapas temáticos para el análisis y su interpretación. La conclusión en relación a la ubicación de las viviendas el 44% de ellas están situados entre 200 a 400 metros de distancia hacia una fuente de agua; en tanto en la característica organizacional son aspectos muy comunes, tres habitaciones, el techo de calamina y la construcción de los muros con adobe.
