This article develops the role of the baselines for the delimitation of the maritimespaces of the States, according to the UNCLOS, as well as its importance for Peru and forthe demand of its legitimate claims before the International Court of Justice in the maritimedispute with Chile.
El presente artículo desarrolla el rol de las líneas de base para la delimitación de losespacios marítimos de los Estados, conforme a la Convención de las Naciones Unidas sobreDerecho del Mar (CONVEMAR), así como su trascendencia para el Perú y para lademanda de sus legítimos reclamos ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia en lacontroversia marítima con Chile.
Cet article développe le rôle des lignes de base pour la délimitation de l'espace maritimeespaces des États, selon la CNUDM, ainsi que son importance pour le Pérou et pourla demande de ses prétentions légitimes devant la Cour internationale de Justice dans le domaine maritimedifférend avec le Chili.
