THE RECEPTION AND HIERARCHY OF TREATIES IN THE INTERNAL LAW OF AMERICAN STATES

In this study the challenges of the American region in terms of reception and regulatoryhierarchy of international treaties in the Internal Law of States are argued. To do this,using the legal-doctrinal analysis method, the theoretical references on treaties and theirrelationship with Internal Law are systematized. Likewise, the current status of thereception and regulatory hierarchy of treaties in the constitutions of 21 American Statesis analyzed.
En el presente estudio se argumentan los retos de la región americana en materia derecepción y jerarquía normativa de los tratados en el Derecho Interno de los Estados.Para ello, con el empleo del método análisis jurídico-doctrinal, se sistematizan losreferentes teóricos jurídicos sobre los tratados y su relación con el Derecho Interno.Asimismo, se analiza el estado actual de la recepción y jerarquía normativa de lostratados en las constituciones de 21 Estados americanos.
Dans cette étude les enjeux de la région américaine en termes d'accueil et de régulationhiérarchie des traités internationaux dans le droit interne des États. Pour faire ça,en utilisant la méthode d'analyse juridique-doctrinale, les références théoriques sur les traités et leursles relations avec le droit interne sont systématisées. De même, l'état actuel de laréception et hiérarchie réglementaire des traités dans les constitutions de 21 États américainsest analysé.
