This research named “Use of the lip sync in the Spanish dubbing of the short film ‘The Butterfly Circus’, Chiclayo – 2017”. It’s a descriptive research based on the cinematographic approach which confirms that the specialized language used in this industry is not only linguistically codified, but it also includes codes that contribute to give the final message. The former consists of linguistic, paralinguistic, musical, special effects and sound arrangement codes, whereas visual codes include iconographic, photographic, graphic, planning, syntactic or montage, and mobility codes. For this research the analytical synthetic method was applied to evaluate the lip sync in the Spanish dubbing of the short film ‘The Butterfly Circus’ through the development of a checklist and an analysis matrix. The population was composed of the content of the short film and the sample was the script divided by takes.  KEY WORDS: LIP SYNC, DUBBING, TAKES
La presente tesis titulada “Uso de la sincronización labial en el doblaje al español del cortometraje ‘El Circo de la Mariposa’, Chiclayo – 2017”, es una investigación descriptiva basada en la teoría del enfoque cinematográfico la cual afirma que el lenguaje especializado usado en esta industria no sólo está codificado lingüísticamente, sino también incluye códigos que ayudan a formar el mensaje final. Entre ellos están los códigos lingüísticos y paralingüísticos tales como los musicales, efectos especiales y arreglos sonoros, y los códigos visuales que incluyen códigos iconográficos, fotográficos, gráficos, de planificación, sintácticos o de montaje y de movilidad. En el presente trabajo se aplicó el método de investigación analítico sintético para evaluar la sincronización labial del cortometraje ‘El Circo de la Mariposa’ mediante el desarrollo de una lista de cotejo y una matriz de análisis. Se tuvo como población al contenido dicho corto y como muestra el script del mismo dividido en takes. PALABRAS CLAVE: SINCRONIZACION LABIAL, DOBLAJE, TAKES
