This study is carried out under a qualitative approach, for which statistics from the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, documents or accident reports in official and unofficial publications, observations, and expert interviews are used. The results conclude that the State regulations on safety at work have not penetrated the business behavior of the companies evaluated that fail to comply with the legal mandate, facilitating workplace accidents with the loss of workers' lives.Este artículo se ocupa de evaluar los accidentes mortales en ámbitos laborales en grupos de empresas de diversos sectores de la economía con el objetivo de describir y comprender si la normativa del Estado es asimilada por la gestión empresarial en el sentido de cumplirlos para evitar accidentes fatales que involucra perdidas de la vida humana. Se realiza este estudio bajo un enfoque cualitativo para lo cual se utilizan estadísticas del Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción del empleo, documentos o reportes de accidentes en publicaciones oficiales y no oficiales, observaciones, entrevistas de expertos. Este artículo se ocupa de evaluar los accidentes mortales en ámbitos laborales en grupos de empresas de diversos sectores de la economía con el objetivo de describir y comprender si la normativa del Estado es asimilada por la gestión empresarial en el sentido de cumplirlos para evitar accidentes fatales que involucra perdidas de la vida humana. Se realiza este estudio bajo un enfoque cualitativo para lo cual se utilizan estadísticas del Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción del empleo, documentos o reportes de accidentes en publicaciones oficiales y no oficiales, observaciones, entrevistas de expertos.
