EFECTO CITOPROTECTOR DEL EXTRACTO MIXTO DE Solanum tuberosum L. “PAPA”, Minthostachys mollis L. “MUÑA” y Uncaria tomentosa L. “UÑA DE GATO” EN LAS LESIONES ULCEROSAS DE RATAS INDUCIDAS POR ETANOL

Se determinó el efecto citoprotector del extracto mixto de Solanum tuberosum L. “papa”, Minthostachys mollis L. “muña” y Uncaria tomentosa L. “uña de gato” en las lesiones ulcerosas de ratas inducidas por etanol, empleándose 40 ratas de tres meses de edad y de 250 ± 10g de peso corporal. Se usó 05 grupos de 08 animales cada uno a los cuales se les aplicó una dosis del extracto de 0,4 mL/Kg y otra de 0,8mL/Kg. Después de una hora se indujo la injuria administrando por vía orogástrica con 1 mL de etanol. Los grupos fueron confrontados con el sucralfato a una dosis de 30 mg/kg. El daño se observó a las 06 horas después del tratamiento. Los resultados demostraron que con el extracto se logró un 96.2% (p< 0,05) de reducción de las lesiones; en cambio aplicando sucralfato se alcanzó un 91,5%. En el análisis microscópico y macroscópico se encontró diferencias significativas de las lesiones gástricas entre el grupo control (II) y los grupos III, IV y V (p<0.001). En las condiciones experimentales ensayadas los extractos administrados presentaron un efecto citoprotector sobre la mucosa gástrica dañada.Palabras claves: Solanum tuberosum, Minthostachys mollis L., Uncaria tomentosa L., lesiones ulcerosas ABSTRACT           The cytoprotective effect of the combined extract of Solanum tuberosum L. "potatoe", Minthostachys mollis L. "muña" and Uncaria tomentosa L. "cat's claw" was determined in the ulcer lesions of rats induced by ethanol, using 40 rats of 3 months old and 250 g average weight. 05 groups of 08 animals each were used to which a dose of the extract of 0.4 mL/Kg and another of 0.8mL/Kg was applied. After one hour, the injury was induced by administering the orogastric route with 1 mL of ethanol. The groups were compared with sucralfate at a dose of 30 mg/kg. The damage was observed at 06 hours after treatment. The results showed that with the extracts a 96.2% (p <0.05) decrease in lesions was obtained; while using sucralfate it was possible to obtain 91.5%. In the microscopic and macroscopic analysis, significant differences were found in gastric lesions between the control group (II) and groups III, IV and V (p<0.001).
