The treatment of placenta previa, before the introduction of cesarean section, abdominal, was based on a series of methods whose purpose was to restrain, reduce or eliminate bleeding. There is no single mode of treatment; good way depends on the variety, the importance of bleeding, their impact on the general state, the state of the cervix integrity, ease of access to the membranes, the degree of infection, the viability of fetus, the time and environment in which they act.
La terapéutica de la placenta previa, antes de la introducción de la cesárea, abdominal, se fundaba en una serie de procedimientos, cuyo fin era cohibir, disminuir o suprimir las hemorragias. No hay un modo único de tratamiento; el buen modo depende de la variedad, de la importancia de la hemorragia, de su repercusión sobre el estado general, del estado de integridad del cuello del útero, de la facilidad de acceso a las membranas, del grado de infección, de la viabilidad del feto, del momento y medio en que se actúa.
