70 years ago, on June 30, 1947, Dr. Constantino José Carvallo Alzamora and a group of distinguished Gynecologist Obstetricians founded the Peruvian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SPOG). In the course of its history, SPOG plays a very important role in the academic-scientific field. Thus, in 1955, the Peruvian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics was created for the purpose of further disseminating the knowledge and contributions of its associates, whose uninterrupted edition to date constitutes one of the most regular specialized editions of the country. In its digitized version and indexed in LIPECS, LATINDEX, IMBIOMED, SciELO, Redalyc, Directory of Open Access Journals, e-revist @ s, REDIB, Dialnet, has more than one million followers globally.
Hace 70 años, un 30 junio de 1947, el Dr. Constantino José Carvallo Alzamora y un grupo de distinguidos Médicos Gineco Obstetras fundaron la Sociedad Peruana de Ginecología y Obstetricia (SPOG). En el discurrir de su historia, la SPOG desempeña un rol muy importante en el campo académico-científico. Es así que en el año 1955, con fines de una mayor difusión de los conocimientos y los aportes de sus asociados se crea la Revista Peruana de Ginecología y Obstetricia, cuya edición ininterrumpida a la fecha constituye una de las ediciones especializadas más regulares del país. Revista que, en su versión digitalizada e indizada en LIPECS, LATINDEX, IMBIOMED, SciELO, Redalyc, Directory of Open Access Journals, e-revist@s, REDIB, Dialnet, tiene más de un millón de seguidores a nivel global.
