Clinical evaluation of two two-phase and three-phase preparations based norgestrel /

458 women were evaluated during 3585 cycles in a randomized, open controlled study designed to compare two two-phase and three-phase preparations based Norgestrel / Etilnilestradiol. The three preparations are not effective contraceptives and pregnancies were recorded. Cycle control was good with all three, but the incidence of bleeding was ost mom with three phase. With this preparation full hormonal intake is well below the lower fixed doses of Norgestrel / Ethinyl as a combined preparation (more Norgestrel 300 mcg 30 mcg EE..) In the original aspect ratio 10: 1. It is concluded that the hormone dose wobble opens the possibility of hormonal contraception with lower intake of what is possible when a fixed dose regimen is used.
458 mujeres fueron evaluadas durante 3585 ciclos en un estudio controlado randomizado y abierto, diseñado para comparar dos preparados bifásicos y un trifásico a base de Norgestrel/Etilnilestradiol. Los tres preparados son anticonceptivos efectivos y no se registraron gestaciones. El control del ciclo fue bueno con los tres, pero la incidencia de sangrado intermensual fue ayor con el trifásico. Con este preparado la ingesta hormonal total está bien por debajo de la dosis fija más baja de Norgestrel/Etinilestradiol como preparación combinada (300 mcg. Norgestrel más 30 mcg. EE) en la proporción original 10:1. Se concluye que el tambaleo de dosis hormonales abre la posibilidad de anticoncepción con menor ingesta hormonal de lo que es posible cuando se utiliza un regimen a dosis fija.
