Chorangiocarcinoma, doubloe tumor of the placenta

A case of chorioangioma of the placenta associated with an abnormal proliferation of the trophoblast, condition that has been called chorangiocarcinoma, is reported. This is the fifth report on the subject in the medical literature. The current case presented preeclampsia, angioma in the newborn and atypical proliferation of the endothelial cell, aspects not mentioned in previous reports.
El corangiocarcicoma es un tumor raro de la placenta constituido por un corangioma y proliferación del epitelio trofoblástico con caracteres de coriocarcinoma. Hay pocos casos descritos en la literatura. El caso ue se presenta tuvo algunas manifestaciones, como preeclampsi, presencia concomitante de angioma en el recién nacido y proliferación de las células endoteliales, que no han sido mencionadas en los casos ya publicados.
