In the last quarter of 2015, the Regional Council for Science, Technology and Technological Innovation - CONCYTEC of Peru called the Peruvian scientific journals indexed to apply for the National Fund for Scientific, Technological Development and Technological Innovation - CONDECYT / Cienciactiva for support economic intended to publish, over a period of two years, a greater number of quality goods with the aim of indexing importance databases, including Scopus and web of Science. The Peruvian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (RPGO) has earned this award strengthens and will raise its editorial quality. The Editorial Committee of the RPGO is very proud to have obtained such important support that will eventually encourage him to publish original articles and other types of scientific articles in English. Beginning this new era, in this issue the editorial present original articles and two special interest in English and Spanish is published. And an article is published in Portuguese. The RPGO invites all its readers and friends to send their work and related to obstetrics, gynecology and human reproduction in English, Spanish or Portuguese articles, following the instructions in the Information for Authors of the journal.
En el último trimestre de 2015, el Consejo Regional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica - CONCYTEC del Perú convocó a las revistas científicas peruanas indexadas a postular al Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Científico, Tecnológico y de Innovación Tecnológica – CONDECYT/Cienciactiva, para un apoyo económico destinado a publicar, en un período de dos años, un mayor número de artículos de calidad con el objetivo de indexación a bases de datos de importancia, incluyendo Scopus y Web of Science. La Revista Peruana de Ginecología y Obstetricia (RPGO) ha obtenido este premio que fortalece y permitirá elevar su calidad editorial. El Comité Editorial de la RPGO está muy orgulloso de haber obtenido tan importante apoyo que lo estimulará a publicar eventualmente artículos originales y otros tipos de artículos científicos en inglés. Empezando esta nueva era, en el presente número se publica el presente editorial y dos artículos originales de interés especial en inglés y español. Y un artículo es publicado en portugués. La RPGO invita a todos sus lectores y amigos a enviar sus trabajos y artículos relacionados a la obstetricia, ginecología y reproducción humana en inglés, español o portugués, siguiendo las instrucciones de la Información para los Autores de la revista.
