Between anomy and inhumanity: Femicide cases in the Puno region – Peru

In this study, the determining and conditioning factors of the cases of the phenomenon of feminicides that occurred in the last five years in the Puno region were analyzed. The objectives of the study are focused on analyzing and explaining conditioning factors of the phenomenon of feminicide in women and analyzing the motivations and beliefs that a decision of feminicide contains in the family environment. The study method is quantitative in nature, correlational type, the research techniques that have been used are the review of statistical panel data and documentary analysis. The results found allow us to maintain that the phenomenon of feminicide in our environment is related to the symbolic construction of violence by individual, sociodemographic and structural factors, as well as the characterization of the use of this violence as a resource of control and male dominance. Furthermore, it is closely linked to the fight for the recognition of women as subjects of rights and, above all, the human dignity of women.
En este estudio se analizó los factores determinantes y condicionantes de los caso del fenómeno de feminicidios ocurridos en los últimos cinco años en la región Puno. Los objetivos del estudio están centrados en analizar y explicar factores condicionantes del fenómeno del feminicidio de la mujer y analizar las motivaciones y creencias que encierra una decisión del feminicidio en el entorno familiar. El método de estudio es de carácter cuantitativo, de tipo correlacional, las técnicas de investigación que se han empleado son la revisión de datos estadísticos de panel y análisis documental. Los resultados encontrados nos permite sostener que el fenómeno de feminicidio en nuestro medio está relacionado a la construcción simbólica de la violencia por factores individuales, sociodemográficos y estructurales, así como la caracterización del uso de esta violencia como recurso de control y dominio masculino. Además, está estrechamente ligado a la lucha por el reconocimiento de las mujeres como sujetos de derechos y sobre todo la dignidad humana de la mujer.
