El centralismo de Lima Metropolitana es la expresión clásica en la medida que concentra en alto porcentaje los centros de finanzas y comercialización, salud, educación y obstaculiza el desarrollo del interior del país. Esto genera la migración a Lima y posteriormente a las ciudades medias.
