There were no complications. Therefore, arterial embolization in these cases is a safe procedure and can save lives.Cincuenta pacientes con diagnóstico de hemoptisis amenazante, 35 varones y 15 mujeres fueron referidos para manejo mínimamente invasivo. Tuberculosis y sus secuelas fueron las causas más frecuentes. Previa angiografía, 41 fueron sometidos a embolización arterial que fue exitosa, seis necesitaron una embolización adicional y cuatro requirieron dos embolizaciones extras; en uno no se realizó la embolización porque no se demostró sangrado activo. No hubo complicaciones.
