The following research project, titled "The short movies to improve the Listening Comprehension in Third-Grade at “Blas Valera” Emblematic Educative Institution – Lámud, 2023," aimed to demonstrate the influence of "The short movies" (short videos) on the performance of English listening comprehension. A quantitative research with a pre-experimental design was conducted with a sample of 18 students from the third-grade "A" class. A rubric, validated by expert judgment, was used as both a pre-test and post-test to assess listening comprehension in its dimensions of message comprehension-interpretation in context, message perception, and attitude. As a method, 20 learning sessions were implemented using "The short movies" strategy.
