The present thesis entitled "Prevention of health risks due to exposure to chemical pollutants produced by asphalt in the process of sealing joints in the workers of the Provincial Municipality of Espinar - 2019" applied to a non-probabilistic sample of 02 workers of the same Municipality, to whom the techniques of observation and occupational monitoring of chemical agents were applied and the instruments suitable for monitoring inhalable dusts, benzene and gas were used as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide gas, carbon dioxide gas and oxygen gas, derived from asphalt in the joint sealing process.
