El experimento, realizado en abril de 2019 en Posic (Rioja, San Martín), evaluó el efecto de la ceniza de la cascara de arroz en las propiedades del suelo y en el rendimiento del arroz bajo riego. Se instalaron 8 tratamientos: T1 (10 t/ha de ceniza fresca + NPK), T2 (20 t/ha de ceniza fresca + NPK), T3 (30 t/ha de ceniza fresca + NPK), T4 (10 t/ha de ceniza descompuesta + NPK), T5 (20 t/ha de ceniza descompuesta + NPK), T6 (30 t/ha de ceniza descompuesta + NPK), un testigo absoluto (T7 ) y un testigo con NPK (T8 ). La ceniza descompuesta en dosis de 30 t/ha modificó las características del suelo, mostrando diferencias en fósforo y potasio disponibles. El tratamiento T4 destacó por su rendimiento superior de 10,533 t/ha, no obstante, el mayor índice de rentabilidad lo alcanzó en el tratamiento T7 con S/. 0,608.
