El objetivo del esudio es determinar la asociación entre la atención prenatal y el bajo peso al nacer en Perú según los resultados de la ENDES 2021. En la metodología, se realizó un estudio cuantitativo correlacional, de diseño observacional, retrospectivo y transversal, la población fueron mujeres de 12 a 49 años con hijos nacidos a partir del 2016, siendo está un total de 22100 y después de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se seleccionó a 14003 mujeres para el estudio. Se trabajó con la información de la ENDES 2021 del módulo 1633, correspondiente a Embarazo, parto, puerperio y lactancia, en donde se descargaron las bases de datos REC41 y REC94 que contenían información sobre las variables del estudio. Material and Methods:  secondary base analysis obtained from the Peruvian Ministry of Health, where 506 obstetrics licenses were selected who submitted the National Obstetrics Exam (ENAOBS) and who have applied to SERUMS in the 2019-2 call.
