Currently, there is a wide use of fiberglass post. However, they have the disadvantage that their shape can not be changed and are inadequate for cases of teeth with extensive coronal destruction and wide root canals. This case report describes the use of a fiberglass post and core manufactured with a CAD / CAM system to restore a lower premolar tooth treated endodontically. This CAD / CAM fiberglass post adapts better to the root canal than a prefabricated post, without the need to use composite resin for the stump and reduces the thickness of the cement layer.

Objetivos: Comparar la aceptabilidad y efi cacia del midazolam por vía oral (en gelatina y en jugo) en la sedación consciente de pacientes preescolares para su atención estomatológica. Material y métodos: Se incluyeron 50 niños sanos, no colaboradores, preescolares y con necesidad de atención estomatológica bajo sedación consciente quienes fueron asignados al azar a la preparación de midazolam vía oral (0,5mg/kg): jugo o gelatina. Se registraron la aceptabilidad del paciente, puntuaciones de conducta, signos vitales, efectos adversos y tiempo de recuperación. La medicación aplicada fue cegada al operador y al observador. Resultados: La aceptabilidad del midazolam usando gelatina fue signifi cativamente mayor (88%) que usando jugo (56%) (p<0,05).
