In this research evaluated the influence of the volumetric ratio of sand and confitillo on physical and mechanical properties of a concrete brick for build walls with live load properties. For the preparation and characterization of this brick concrete was used Cement Pacasmayo type ICo, sand of 4.25 mm to 0.075 mm of size, confitillo of 3/8" both from the quarry “El Milagro” and drinkable water from the city of Trujillo; to the aggregates, sand and confitillo were characterized by for Sieve Analysis of Fine and Coarse Aggregates, moisture content, organic matter content, Absorption and specific weight.
