Legal education is not a subject of much discussion; however, it is a fundamental matter in the formation of lawyers, and because of that, it is important for students and teachers. In the present article, the author concentrates on the instruction of Administrative Law, focusing on the role of the legal doctrine in this regard and concluding that the form and method of Administrative Law must be specific for this discipline.

El autor aborda la metodología de enseñanza del derecho administrativo a partir del rol preponderante que cumple la doctrina, como fuente de derecho, en la sociedad. Asimismo, postula que el derecho administrativo se sistematiza en torno a tres aspectos que nacen de una relación jurídica, estos son: la administración, la actuación administrativa y el administrado. En ese sentido, cobra relevancia el aporte de los profesores y juristas en la doctrina para enseñar, a través de un método jurídico, el derecho administrativo como una disciplina que puede relacionarse a otras, pero sin confundirse con ellas, es decir, una disciplina autónoma.
