This study aims to determine the reproductive behavior of adolescents treated at the Hospital de Apoyo "Maria Auxiliadora". For this, the database of Perinatal Information System of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics was revised. It was found that during the period from July 1, 1988 and December 31, 1989, a total of 6,251 births were attended. Within that period also he attended the birth of 1,199 women between 10 and 19 years, representing a rate of nearly 20% of all births. 80% of adolescents brewing for the first time and the other 20% had a history of 1-4 pregnancies.
