This article studies two representive images from the Nueva Corónica y buen gobierno, written by the Andean chronicler Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala (c. 1615). These drawings depict how the Catholic Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation was administered to indigenous people within the Viceroyalty of Peru. The scenes are connected to the traditional iconography of sacraments developed within Spanish America, especially those techniques and methods developed by Franciscans within the Americas. This is especially the case when these images are compared as a point of reference with the manuals and documents produced from the Third Council of Lima (1582-1583). La investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar la relación existente entre el uso de los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje y la satisfacción del estudiante de una Escuela Superior de Formación Artística en Piura. Para ello se aplicó una encuesta virtual a una muestra de 264 estudiantes de ambos sexos de las carreras Artista Profesional y Educación Artística de los ciclos 2°, 4°, 6°, 8°, 10° durante el ciclo 2021-II. Los resultados se obtuvieron tras aplicar pruebas de estadística inferencial que comprobaron la correlación entre las variables (0,82) y entre las dimensiones Accesibilidad (0,75) y Pedagógica (0,82) con la variable Satisfacción. The article focusses on the comparison of the work of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala’s Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno (ca. 1615) and Martín Chambi´s photographic covers for La Crónica (1918-1929). It aims to characterize their artistic vision under the eyewitness concept (“Testigo Visual”), that is, a self-conscious attitude toward the registration and artistic representation in defined moments of cultural crisis in Cuzco (Perú) like the beginning of the Colonial era or, three centuries later, when the industrial and modern life arrived to Cuzco in the 20th century.
