Background: Heart failure (HF) is considered as a public health problem in rapid growth and its relation to anemia is a fact that has made a recent major, but little considered in clinical practice. Studies that measured the prevalence of anemia in patients with HF have widely varying results so the magnitude of the problem is unclear. La presente investigación se realizará con el objetivo de valorar la exactitud diagnóstica de la elastosonografía shear-wave (ESW) en la detección de nódulo mamario maligno y compararla con la resonancia magnética de mama a través de un estudio analítico comparativo, de corte transversal con un diseño específico para pruebas diagnósticas. Para lo cual se tomará una muestra de 165 mujeres adultas con diagnóstico reciente de tumor de comportamiento incierto o desconocido de la mama atendidas en el Servicio de Imágenes (SEDIMAG) del Hospital de Alta Complejidad Virgen de la Puerta (HACVP), durante el periodo de estudio y que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión establecidos.
