The main objective of this research study was to assess the impact of a learner-training program based on Flipped Learning in order to improve second year students’ speaking skills in English at Simon Bolivar secondary school. The type of research was experimental and with quasi-experimental designs. The population was made up of 183 students of both sexes with a sample of 60, who were selected by convenience or non-probabilistic sampling. The post-test results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group as their mean score was higher (13,79 > 9,80). In conclusion, the learner training program based on Flipped Learning improved significantly the population students’ spiking skills and indicators (verbal fluency, coherence of ideas, intonation, except accent) as p-value was 0,000 < ? = 0,05, accepting the working hypothesis.
