The study is a quantitative analysis of the foraging behavior of Melipona Ilota related to different types of combs. The design is experimental with an explanatory, transversal and prospective level of analysis. The primary information was obtained from the direct observation of worker bees that carry out foraging activity raised in two types of honeycombs, in trunk (PM-T) and technical box (PM-C), in the Zungaro Cocha farm of the Faculty of Agronomy-UNAP, for one (01) month, with three observations a week from 7:00 to 8:00 am, 9:00 to 10:00 and 11:00 to 12:00 am, registering for each sampling time the resources transported by the bees.
