In the project Collisions and Essays (2021), commissioned for the Zarigüeya/ Albado Contemporáneo program, I generate a visual universe in which I am interested in reflecting on two relationship systems. First, the ritual and utilitarian uses that have been attributed by archeology to the pieces in Casa del Alabado Museum´s reserves. Second, their contemporary applications: now, understanding them as art or as historical documents, thinking how a new system of relationships between these objects and people has been established from the history of Western art and science.
