Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted on women's sexual and reproductive health, since it affected the provision of family planning services; and, therefore, the continuity of the use of contraceptive methods, being important to know what factors were related to this fact. Objective: To determine the factors associated with the interruption of contraceptive use during the COVID-19 pandemic in Peruvians, 2020. Determina las características de las publicaciones académicas y los factores asociados a la producción científica de los docentes del Departamento Académico de Obstetricia, UNMSM, 2020. El estudio es observacional de tipo analítico, transversal y retrospectivo que incluyó a 72 docentes del Departamento Académico de Obstetricia que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión se aplicó 2 fichas de recolección de datos, validados por juicio de experto y prueba piloto. Se calcularon medidas de tendencia central para las variables cuantitativas y frecuencias y porcentajes para las variables cualitativas; se empleó la prueba T de Student, Chicuadrado y prueba exacta de Fisher. Introduction: The SARS-CoV2 virus could cause adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes due to the changes inherent in pregnancy and its investigation is necessary. Objective: To compare the maternal and neonatal results among the puerperal women screened for SARS-CoV-2 at the San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, April to September 2020. Materials and Methods: A quantitative study with an analytical, retrospective and cross-sectional design, included a sample Of 377 puerperal women screened for SARS-CoV-2, puerperal women with incomplete medical records were excluded.
