El problema planteado sobre el hurto de vehículos menores, no sólo nos afecta a los pobladores de Tarapoto, es un problema que lo sufren en todas las latitudes del mundo, Europa no es un continente ajeno a este problema, países como Italia y España son los que concentran la mayor incidencia de este tipo de delito, de igual manera en Latino América se registran en gran proporción estos ilícitos. En países como México y Colombia el hurto de vehículos menores es un problema tan grande que en la mayoría de los casos resulta poco probable que el agraviado recupere su vehículo, como también lo es en ciudades como !quitos y Tarapoto, donde la frecuencia de estos ilícitos es casi a diario, preocupando seriamente el incremento de la incidencia delictiva contra el patrimonio en la modalidad de hurto de vehículos menores, que es la razón de nuestra investigación. In this study, we generated information on the structural characteristics and reproductive phenology of aguaje in six plantations from 11,6 to 17 years old established in the Jenaro Herrera Research Centre, Loreto, Peru. We observed and measured plant survival, structural characteristics, and phenology. The results showed that plant survival ranged from 66% to 96%. The majority of the variables did not show an increase with the age of the plantation, except for the mean stem height and total height, which were higher in the 17‑year‑old plantation than in the younger plantations. The reproductive stage of plants began at 6‑7 years with the flowering of a few individuals and showing an increase in the number of flowering plants in the plantations each year.
