El presente artículo tiene como objetivo conocer la cultura tributaria y el cumplimiento de las obligaciones de comerciantes del mercado el Huayco. El estudio se desarrolló con un tipo de investigación descriptivo, siendo el diseño de investigación no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 262 comerciantes del mercado el Huayco ubicada en la ciudad de Tarapoto. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como técnica la encuesta, estructurado en un cuestionario, en una serie de 17 ítems, calificados mediante una escala de Likert de 3 puntos, los cuales fueron aplicados a las dos variables. Para el análisis de datos se utilizó el sistema SPSS, y para luego ser procesadas y obteniendo información acerca del tema de investigación. El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación significativa entre educación financiera y la gestión financiera de los usuarios de entidades bancarias de la provincia de San Martín. El alcance del estudio fue cuantitativo, diseño no experimental transversal de alcance correlacional, muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia estuvo constituida por 290 usuarios, cuyas edades fluctuaban entre 18 a 56 años (44.48% varones y 55.52% mujeres); a quienes se administró el cuestionario de educación financiera y gestión financiera.
