This research work was carried out in the facilities of the Research Program for the Use and Conservation of Water and its Resources (AQUAREC), of the Research Institute of the Peruvian Amazon (IIAP), at the Research Center "Carlos Miguel Castañeda Ruiz ”, Located in the hamlet of Bello Horizonte in the district of La Banda de Shilcayo - Tarapoto, department of San Martín, between the months of October and November 2015, with the aim of evaluating the influence of three diets on the raising of post larvae of the “brown carachama” Hypostomus hemicochliodon. 900 post larvae with length and initial weight of 1.69cm and 0.05g respectively were used, they were cultivated in 09 trays, 100 individuals were sown in each experimental unit (1200cm2) at a density of 0.8 fish per cm2 and for a period of 28 days.
