Se ejecutó la investigación con el objetivo de estudiar el comportamiento de la madera Albizia pedicellaris (vilco pashaco) al proceso de maquinado a tres alturas de fuste en Tingo María; actividad realizada en dos fases: fase de campo en el Bosque Reservado de la Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva (BRUNAS), fase de transformación y de evaluación (Laboratorio Taller de Aprovechamiento Forestal) de la Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva en el distrito Rupa Rupa en la región Huánuco; se utilizó tres árboles con DAP ≥ 10 cm de acuerdo a la norma COPANT 458 y se habilitó considerando la norma ASTM-D-1666-87; se prepararon y ensayaron 135 probetas de 2,5 cm x 10 cm x 100 cm, en los tres planos de corte (tangencial, oblicuo y radial) para el cepillado y taladrado, y 45 probetas de 2,5 cm x 2,5 cm x 10 cm para el torneado, siendo los datos analizados mediante el análisis...

The objective of the research was to identify the non-timber forest products (NTFP) marketed in the Viñas Population Center. The methodology used was theoretical and analytical, in terms of the type of research it is descriptive and documentary to analyze the current and potential natural resources of the Poblado de Viñas Center. The results show the importance of NTFPs in various conservation and development projects, with emphasis on production and trade in medicinal, ornamental and timber issues, through the evaluation of the different forms of use and sustainability. Finally, it is concluded that the Viñas Population Center reports a great wealth of natural resources, which are essential for the community's economy.
