Introducción: los factores de riesgo de sepsis neonatal de inicio temprano (EOS) son bien conocidos. Sin embargo, todavía no han sido evaluados en hijos de personal militar, que son una población especial. Objetivo: determinar los factores asociados con EOS en niños de personal militar peruano en un hospital. Materiales y métodos: Este es un estudio observacional, analítico y retrospectivo que incluyó a recién nacidos hospitalizados en la Unidad Neonatal del Hospital Militar Central, Perú entre 2009 y 2017. Los datos se compilaron a partir de la historia clínica y los registros de estadías en el hospital. Los casos de sepsis se compararon con otras variables de interés a través de modelos lineales generalizados.
