This study aimed to determine the relationship between carbon footprint levels and the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of secondary School students and the staff of a Private Denominational School. The research was carried out in three parts: the calculation of the carbon footprint of the school, following the methodology of the Protocol of Greenhouse Gases; the measurement of the carbon footprint in the study population, through the calculator of emissions of Dragonfly Management in Climate Change and Communication, and the application of a test of knowledge, attitudes and practices. El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre la huella de carbono y los conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de los estudiantes del nivel secundario y el personal del Colegio “Mi Jesús”, mediante cuestionarios relacionados con las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. La investigación se realizó en tres parte: el cálculo de la huella de carbono del colegio, siguiendo la metodología del protocolo de gases de efecto invernadero; la medición de la huella de carbono en la población de estudio, a través de la calculadora de emisiones de Libélula Gestión en Cambio Climático y Comunicación, y la aplicación de una prueba de conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas.
