Banking is an important issue because it creates a financial culture that allows better management of personal finances, increases savings, creates liquidity in the system to meet the credit needs of micro and small businesses, and also provides opportunities for businesses operate with financing. Therefore, this study has the general objective of analyzing whether Covid -19 has had an impact on the use of banking institutions in the Loreto region, period 2020 - 2021; the study is an applied description of non-experimental design using quantitative and cross-sectional methods. The study ends by stating that Covid - 19 had a relatively low impact on the access to banking institutions in the Loreto region, the deposit rates in 2020 were 20.17%, in 2021 it was 17.07% in the year 2021 and in loans the rate in 2020 was 20.17% and in 2021 it was 23.04%.
