The objective of the study is to identify which are the luminaires that generate a high consumption of electrical energy in the television studios at the INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE RADIO Y TELEVISIÓN DEL PERÚ (IRTP) in order to find the best alternative to make a change in the lighting system, for which a technical-economic analysis was carried out and it was determined that the led lighting system fulfills 3 main characteristics for its implementation, which are: longer life, lower electricity consumption and requires less maintenance. El objetivo del estudio se realizó debido a la necesidad de identificar cuáles son las luminarias que generan un alto consumo de energía eléctrica en el estudio 1 de televisión en TV Perú con la finalidad de buscar una mejor alternativa de sistema de iluminación sin afectar el actual sistema, para lo cual se realizó un análisis técnico – económico y se determinó que el sistema de iluminación led cumple con 3 características principales para su implementación que son: mayor vida útil, menor consumo eléctrico y requiere menos mantenimiento.
