The schemes for classifying skin and soft tissue infections (SSTI) present limitations for the health team. In this context, the function of the pharmaceutical chemist is important, because it is the professional who directly has the highest relation with the medicines, because it has knowledge farmacotécnicos, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, etc., as well as capacity to lead personnel.
