Objective: To determine the level of knowledge on the prevention of arterial hypertension in older adults of the town of Florida del Perene - Chanchamayo 2023. Material and Methods: Basic, descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional research.  The study population consisted of 70 older adults from the town of La Florida del Perene - Chanchamayo. The sample was a census.  Results: The level of knowledge about the prevention of arterial hypertension in older adults in the town of La Florida del Perene - Chanchamayo 2023.  It is low 72.9% (51), medium 20% (14) and high 7.1% (5).
