This study explores patterns of morphological variation in Minquartia guianensis Aubl. through morphometric analysis of six vegetative characters, with the objective of discriminating four phenotypes that were pre-established based on the type of indument. First, we explored the morphometric and morphological data using a Hierarchical Clustering Analysis (UPGMA) with k=4. Subsequently, we analyzed the six morphometric variables using Principal Components (PCA) and evaluated their relationship, to exclude the one with the highest correlation in further analyses. Los bosques ribereños de la Amazonía peruana son ecosistemas de alta diversidad, pero también de los más amenazados por la actividad humana. Sin embargo, el conocimiento sobre su flora sigue siendo limitado, ya que las investigaciones han priorizado los bosques de tierra firme. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar y discriminar especies de plantas con flores mediante secuencias del gen cloroplástico rbcL. El estudio se realizó en las cuencas bajas de los ríos Nanay, Yanayacu, Marañón y Ucayali en Perú. Las colectas se llevaron a cabo entre enero y marzo de 2022, recolectando únicamente plantas con flores en ambas orillas de cada río.
