El estudio se realizó en el valle Sur de la localidad de Saylla de la provincia y departamento del Cusco, el propósito es “evaluar en qué medida la reutilización de aguas residuales de la planta de tratamiento de San Jerónimo afecta la degradación de los terrenos de cultivo en el valle sureño” previamente descrito; la indagación se centró en un análisis cuantitativo, con un alcance no experimental y un diseño transversal. Se examinaron tanto aguas residuales como limpias usadas en la agricultura, seleccionando cuatro muestras de cada tipo.
