An investigation was carried out from November 2020 to October 2021, to know the reproductive biology of Hypophthalmus edentatus (Agassiz, 1829) "maparate" and Brycon amazonicus (Spix & Agassiz, 1829) "sábalo cola roja", in the middle basin of the Putumayo River, Loreto – Peru. The objective of the study was to estimate the size at first sexual maturity, determine the sexual proportion and calculate the gonadosomatic index of the species. The methodology described by Tresierra, A., & Culquichicón, Z., was used. The specimens were obtained from the fishing landing port, the Municipal Market of the city of San Antonio de El Estrecho and through exploratory fishing. The exposure of residents of Quiñones Avenue to envirenmental noise levels exceeding permitted limits can cause health problems and discomfort. The study aimed to establish a relationship between envirenmental noise and acoustic perception, in addition to comparing the levels of these variables with sociodemographic factors. The study was quantitative, with a non experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. The population consisted of Quiñones Avenue residents. A probability sampling was used, with a sample of 384 residents. Surveys and observations were used.
