Occlusive Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is a known established cardiovascular manifestation among patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE); mainly in young women. Several pathological processes can be responsible for producing vascular disease to the myocardium and infarction, being the Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (AAS) an important cause in premenopausal women with SLE.The clinical case of a young woman with SLE of recent beginning that presented an Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) is reported.
