La investigación académica plantea como finalidad conocer el material didáctico para la iniciación del aprendizaje de lengua de señas en estudiantes con discapacidad auditiva, este estudio se realizó a nivel de la educación básica regular, teniendo un tipo de investigación teórico bibliográfico-enfocada en analizar, observar, seleccionar y comparar información relevante en relación con la variable en estudio.
