The research titled Family Functioning and Alcohol Consumption on students from a alternative basic education center in Lima tried to determine the relationship between family functioning and alcohol consumption on a sample of alternative basic education students, on night shift, from 2017 to 2018. It was designed as a descriptive correlational and comparative cross-sectional study. The instruments applied to the 89 students were the FACES III, the AUDIT, and a personal characteristics sheet. The results obtained through the statistical tests don’t show evidence that there is an association between family functioning and alcohol consumption on this population.
