El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo reducir las emisiones de dióxido de carbono provenientes de gases de combustión mediante el secuestro del CO2 por parte de la microalga espirulina produciendo además biomasa, empleando para ello un fotobiorreactor solar tipo tubular diseñado a través de la optimización del proceso de producción. Primero se preparó el inóculo, el cual fue cultivado en 10 cámaras de crecimiento de 250 mL cada una; el cultivo contenía como sustrato vinaza al 2%. Después se implementó los sistemas experimentales: El sistema de combustión estacionario de CO2, que estuvo conformado por una caldera acuotubular de 1 BHP y el otro sistema conformado por un fotobiorreactor tubular. Cucumis dipsaceus " hedgehog gourd ", is a plant species of the family of cucurbits considered as weeds in our region, whose fruit has secondary metabolites of industrial and pharmacological importance highlighting among them the flavonoids, glycosides, alkaloids, tannins and saponins. The latter compound has properties such as surfactant, foaming agent, anti-inflammatoryagent and hepatoprotection. Due to the properties of saponins, the present study was proposed whose main objective was to determine the operating parameters: temperature, time and solid/solvent ratio in the production process of saponin extract from the fruit of Cucumis dipsaceus " hedgehog gourd “.
