El presente artículo examina las deficiencias en la observancia relativo a la garantía del debido proceso dentro de los trámites administrativos carácter disciplinario aplicados en entidades del sector público en la Región La Libertad, Perú. Se aplicó una encuesta a una muestra de 103 trabajadores públicos con la finalidad de explorar el vínculo entre la omisión de principios como la legalidad, imparcialidad, derecho a la defensa, transparencia y proporcionalidad, y el impacto percibido sobre sus garantías laborales y constitucionales. Los resultados reflejan una correlación negativa entre el respeto al debido proceso y la visión acerca de equidad en estos procedimientos.
