The aim of this research was to evaluate how the use of storytelling as a didactic strategy influences the development of oral expression in first-year secondary students at the Institution N° 1704535 Yankuam Jintia – Bilingual, Datem del Marañón, 2024. A quasi-experimental design was used with two groups: experimental and control, with a sample of 50 students. Pre and post-tests were used to evaluate the students' verbal, paraverbal, and non-verbal competencies. The results showed that the students in the experimental group, who were exposed to the use of stories, significantly improved in all areas of oral expression compared to the control group. The significance values obtained from the t-test were p = 0.000 for oral expression, verbal, paraverbal, and non-verbal skills, indicating that the use of stories has a positive and significant impact on the development of oral expressio...
