The objective of this investigation was to design a preventive maintenance program for the medical oxygen plants of Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, in order to reduce incidents of failures that generate shortages of medicinal oxygen. The plants are of PSA technology, the first of the UltraControlo brand, with a capacity of 2x12.2 m3/h and 94% ± 1% purity; the second brand Novair, capacity 2x13 m3/h and 99% ± 1% purity and; the third brand UltraControlo, with a capacity of 2x24.4 m3/h and 94% ± 1% purity. For this, information was collected on these floors, through observation, the filing of equipment manuals and Dossiers of the Hospital plants and, the interview with the collaborators and supervisors of the Hospital Engineering, department.
